Operations Supervisor, Sturgeon Terminal SiteBased out of the Sturgeon Terminal Site, approx. 35 minutes N.E. of Edmonton, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing, coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day Field and Control Centre (24/7) operational activities for the Access Pipeline System. We are currently seeking a results oriented candidate with proven leadership and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Responsibilities include: leading and directing daily operational activities with emphasis on safety, productivity, quality and budget management. You will be a key participant in other corporate activities such as expansion and optimization projects and assist with regulatory compliance stewardship. Reporting to the Operations Superintendent you will have a minimum of 15 years experience in a liquids pipeline operation with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role. You will also have solid knowledge of the applicable regulations and industry standards. An engineering diploma or technology certification would be an asset. Access Pipeline Inc. is a joint venture between Devon Canada and MEG Energy. Access Pipeline Inc. operates bitumen blend and diluent pipeline assets to service SAGD facilities in NE Alberta, providing transportation services to the greater Edmonton area.
