Our Pipeline System
The President of Access Pipeline reports to the Board of Directors, guides the company’s strategy and budget decisions and manages a team of dedicated workers at its Calgary corporate offices, the regional operations office in Fort Saskatchewan, and at its Sturgeon Terminal near Redwater, as well as those who work in the field throughout northeastern Alberta.

Kent Reardon, CMA, President
In my career up until now, I have worked with some amazing people, that being said I feel that the culture at Access is the best I have experienced. As an organization we are committed to a strong safety culture and it shows in everything we do in work and in our personal lives. Going forward we will embark on continuing to develop employees skills to meet future demands. I will continue to focus on building a strong and healthy corporate culture as our competitive advantage.
Kent is a Certified Management Accountant and has held leadership positions in the areas of Accounting, Information Technology, and Human Resources at a number of oil and gas corporations for almost 30 years. Kent has also held consulting roles facilitating Strategic Planning, Business Process Reengineering, and Organizational Effectiveness reviews
The President is responsible for setting strategic direction in conjunction with the Owners, providing leadership to staff, and representing Access Pipeline Inc. to external parties.
Bruce Gray, P. Eng. MBA., Vice President, Operations and Engineering
As Vice President of Operations and Engineering, Bruce is responsible for providing strategy, leadership and direction to the operational aspects of Access’ business, including the Operations, Engineering, Shipper Services and System/Commercial Development areas, and is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
With more than 30 years of experience in the pipeline and oil and gas industry, Bruce has a wide range of operational, engineering, project management, and leadership roles in the upstream and midstream sectors, with experience in both Canada and the United States. Currently, Bruce is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Heavy Oil Association (CHOA), and is a member of the Executive Operations Standing Committee for the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA).
Bruce says that Access Pipeline is a dynamic and responsive company, meeting the needs of its owner/shipper companies, and enabling each employee to actively contribute to the team, and to the industry, which makes Access Pipeline’s culture stand apart from many other companies.
As Vice President of Corporate Services, Randy is responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Information Technology and Office Services including defining reporting structures, clarifying goals, allocating resources, overseeing business activities and along with the other VP’s is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Senior executive with almost 25 years experience in business and finance across a range of industries including working closely with many pipelines as well as oil and gas companies. Randy has an in-depth knowledge in organizational design, financial management, business planning. Randy possesses broad-based management skills, with strong planning, financial, communication, team building and decision making skills.
Randy says that Access has a great culture of high performance, where everyone cares and great work is visible and recognized across the organization.
